The Quick-Q™ technology sets the standard for today’s need to provide a quicker venue access into stadiums, arenas, outdoor events, convention centers and concert halls. This technology has the effectiveness of moving high volumes of patrons through events by reducing line queues and large crowds outside the venue.

    When used with Garrett’s enhanced walk-through metal detectors, the Quick-Q™ technology does not require the divestment of cell phones or other small metallic items. This should reduce the number of items divested as fans are screened and improve ingress through-put rates.

    Includes two (2) rigid locking casters and two (2) swivel locking casters.

    • Ideal for schools, special events, and stadium use.
      Allows full mobility of PD 6500i walk-through by one person. No Lifting required. Move the detectors to a secure location when not in use and provide an unimpeded exit at the close of an event.
    • Extreme stability combined with portability.
      Two fixed casters with locking devices provide stable detector operation, while two swivel casters with locking devices provide maneuverability. The assembly can be permanently attached to walk through the base.
    • All-terrain environment design.
      3-inch wheels allow movement over any hard surfaces. Durable, powder-coated steel allows use in all types of environmental conditions. For wind speeds up to 20 mph (32 kph). Available with swivels on either 2 or 4 wheels.

    Garrett PD 6500i Walk through Metal Detector with casters will roll through doors more than 89″ in height without having to tilt the unit.

    Battery Modules

    These optional battery modules are field install-able assemblies. While recharging, a monitoring circuit allows the batteries to charge in minimal time and then switches to trickle charge to ensure maximum charge without battery damage. The charge status is indicated on the LCD of the Garrett walk-through detector’s control panel and an alarm warns the operator when batteries are low.

    Lithium Battery Modules

    • Recommended for portable applications where the battery is the primary power source.
    • Recommended for high usage application up to 2000 charge cycles.
    • Includes red status light, indicating whether the battery is in the process of charging or is fully charged.
    • Includes a quick change bracket for fast battery replacement. Requires a 3/8″ wrench.
    • Typical ten (10) hours battery operation per full charge.

    Gel Cell Battery Modules

    NOTE: When equipping older walk-through detector units with this battery module, please check with the Garrett factory to acquire the proper software revision that may be required to provide an accurate charge indication.

     

    Networking / Monitoring Accessories

    iC Module

    The iC Module allows users to communicate to a walk-through metal detector with a laptop or desktop PC through the network either wired or wireless. It allows control, real-time monitoring, and diagnostics from a remote location. The internal memory records all changes to settings and passenger traffic and alarm history for analytical evaluation.

    • Gain real-time access to all walk-through detectors on your network.
    • Utilize group management function to organize multiple walk-through by location and name (ex. North Entrance: WT1, WT2, etc.)
    • Adjust settings such as programs or base sensitivity for multiple walk-through detectors all at one time using the group management function.
    • Analyze security checkpoint alarm rates, patron counts, and other diagnostic statistics.
    • Check settings and diagnose issues with detectors on your network.
